Hey guys!

It may not have escaped peoples notices, but our Requiem game is massive! And, while that is a truly awesome thing, it does mean that there is a lot to keep track of.

While Mouses' efforts with helping me run the game are amazingly appreciated, the game has grown to the size where I need more help.

So, if anyone is interested in filling the position of a full time avst, please send me an email or a PM and I will talk to you individually about it.

The job will include helping me with running side scenes, NPCing occasionally, and helping run plots.

Hello all!

I just thought I'd add a little to this, to big up the AVST position.

The AVST position is a fantastic role for anyone who is thinking about STing but isn't sure they want to full responsibility. During my time as VST, I largely served as AVST to Matt Hope (due to complications of the Cam which we are now free of).

Anyway, its a great way to cut your teeth on your STing, running small scenes, having input on plot without needing to keep track of everything and generally being the grease on the cogs of the game.

In my opinion the AVST role is one of the best in the society. While the VST is busily dealing with the 'Plot', the AVST is often left to run scenes with Characters interacting with other elements of the game world, creating NPCs on the fly and experiencing some really great PC to PC interactions.

You would be amazed at how rewarding and entertaining running something as simple as 'Two court dressed vampires visit a housing estate', or running a small combat encounter between some kindred, some fish-men and a car can be.

Its a step between player and VST and frankly you get to see the best of both worlds, fleshing out stats like 'Retainer' or 'Allies' into genuine characters and turning the generic background of the Cambridge WoD into something dynamic and theatrical.

Go on, give it a go
